Distressed Debt Valuation Methodology. I am trying to understand how buyers and sellers are valuing distressed debt. Is it using the DIV approach from years ago?

Looking for folks with residential and commercial mortgage notes that would like a discount between 30% - 50%? This is the one time "To Good To Be True" is actually TRUE. We at Taurian Worldwide Inc (TWI) have the ability to offer this. The magic bullet is that TWI has decided to give some of the discount they get when they buy the notes, back to the consumer. Ex. You have a $200,000 mortg note. they buy it at 10 cents on the dollar. They restructure it and give it back to you with a 30% discount for a total of $140k with 0% interest fixed over 15 years. Is there anything that can be done to delay the foreclosure process. My seller has an auction date set for Aug 13th. The BPO was done today.(08/04) Any advice would be appreciated.
