Kite Realty sells 2 sites, details Glendale financing
Indianapolis » Kite Realty Group announced Tuesday that it financed the revamped Glendale Town Center on the city's Northeastside for $21.8 million using a three-year loan and financed the first phase of Eddy Street Commons at the University of Notre Dame with a three-year, $29.5 million construction loan. Indianapolis-based Kite also said it generated $48.5 million from sales of two out-of-state properties that will be used to pay down debt. (Star report)

The coffee and food chain expects to weather 2009 and keep the heat on rivals such as McDonald's and Starbucks. Coming are a new CEO, more value offerings, more stores and more marketing, with spending up more than 5 percent, led by a $100 million ad campaign starting Monday.

Finish Line filing discloses annual pay for executives
Indianapolis » Mall-based athletics retailer The Finish Line will pay new Chief Executive Officer Glenn S. Lyon a base salary of $620,000 and President/Chief Operating Officer Steven J. Schneider $500,000, according to regulatory filings, reflecting promotions that took effect Dec. 1. Lyon was paid $468,000 a year as president. Schneider was paid $406,000 as chief operating officer. Finish Line also will pay general counsel Gary D. Cohen $318,000. (Star report)
